Real won their third consecutive Champions League on an emotional night that will be remembered for Mo Salah heartbreak, Gareth Bale’s amazing goal and two hideous mistakes by Loris Karius
Fans were left distraught as Liverpool’s star striker succumbed to a shoulder injury after a tackle by Real Madrid’s Sergio Ramos.
Salah looked inconsolable as he was led from the pitch and Sergio Ramos had some nerve offering a sympathetic hug on the way off. Ramos had locked Salah’s right arm and turned him, judo-style, as they lost balance going for the same ball.
People are discussing “Am i the only one who is not happy for real madrid winning final but rather sad for Mohammad Salah’s injury?”

When you’re standing close to Ronaldo, but you would rather stare and smile at @MoSalah. #liverpool #UCLfinal #UCLFinal2018 #LiverpoolVsRealMadrid #PrayForSalah pic.twitter.com/gacSvP6fwE

Sergio Ramos now the most hated man in Liverpool. His takedown takes out Mo Salah. Not the end, but not good. Tears for Mo, and Reds fans too. #UCLFinal

Honestly, that was a disgrace from Sergio Ramos. He’s ended @MoSalah‘s night, and possibly his World Cup with a cynical, horrible foul. Believe me, Ramos knew what he was doing there, dragging the arm down like that and holding. Red card all day. #UCLfinal

Some fan’s quoted:
‘Everyone knows what Ramos is. He reportedly elbowed Katie’s in the face earlier in the game, and the yellow card he won from Mane was risible.
Real Madrid probably deserved to win, in the end, but Ronaldo was not that great. I hope Mourino can be induced to part with 100 million to bring him ‘home’.’
In another news, just moments after the final whistle of the Champions League final, the Portuguese superstar told television reporters that “it was lovely to play for Real Madrid.” Though it’s unclear what he meant by this, fans are fearing the worst.
Cristiano Ronaldo said this about his future after the Champions League final:
“It was very nice to be at Real Madrid. In the coming days I will give a response to the fans, who have always been at my side.”#RMCF
