Pakistani Military Forces Aggressively Turned Away Guests from the Indian Mission-Iftar Party in Islamabad on Saturday. Sources state that even calls were made to refrain the guests to attend the party.

In an interview with ANI, Ajay Bisaria, The Indian Envoy, said “We apologise to our guests who were aggressively turned away from our iftaar party last evening. Such intimidatory tactics are deeply disappointing. They not violate the norms of diplomatic conduct and civilised behaviour, bu also counter-productive to our bilateral relations.

Before the party, guests, called and threatened them with the consequences of attending the party.

Sources said ANI: “Pakistani Agencies virtually laid a seige on Hotel Serena, harassed, intimidated and turned back hundreds of guest.”

“Before that, they called the invitees from masked numbers  and threatened them with the consequences of attending the party. They sunk a new low of harassment with their own people.” They added

Such intimidating tactics are deeply disappointing. They not only violate basic norms of diplomatic conduct and civilized behavior, they are counter productive for India Pakistan relations.

Where on one hand we’re propagating secularism in Indian consulates in other countries, Pakistan trying to diminish their own religious ideals. And minds too.

Indo-Pak relation deteriorated after the Phulwama attack this year. As result of which, diplomatic tensions prevail since then. Consequently, Military combats and economic clashes have reached its peak. This act, could lead to further tensions between the two countries.
