Veteran Congress Leader and -time Chief Minister of Delhi, Sheila Dixit passes away at the age of 81. A few days ago the veteran leader was admitted to the Escorts Hospital. Reports do confirm that she was suffering from Cardiac Arrhythmia. Just for the record, she was the longest-serving minister.
Dixit Passes Away at 81:-
However, she was suffering from an irregular heartbeat and was soon after admitted to hospital. Eventually, she was on ventilators on Friday, July 19th. She took her last breath at around 3:55 Pm.
Sheila Dixit was the president of the Delhi Congress. She served as Delhi’s Chief Minister for 15 years from 1998-2013. As the whole nation is shocked by this depressing news. Similarly, the leaders of the nation share their feelings regarding this sudden demise.
Therefore, the hospital authorities in a statement said,
“Mrs. Sheila Dixit was brought in the morning of July 20 to Fortis Escorts Heart Institute, Okhla, in a critical condition with a cardiac arrest.”
