Article 15, a movie directed by Anubhav Sinha and starring Ayushmann Khurrana. The title of this upcoming movie starring Ayushmann Khuranna as a police officer is borrowed from article 15 of the Indian Constitution 1949. The movie claim to be based on “shocking life events”
The teaser of the film released on 27 May, 2019 is trending. With great expectations people are waiting for the release and the teaser has been praised a lot.
The film is based on the Article 15. That prohibits the state from discriminating any citizen on ground of any religion, race, caste, sex, place of birth. Certainly it’s an article in India’s constitution but hardly recognized.
It shows how discrimination has always been in India. So, can we believe our country’s authoritative figures when above all the articles they are more rigid towards the Article 377 which consequently harms our society than benefiting it.
The teaser started with Ayushmann Khurrana’s voice over hence, reminding viewers about the article 15 of our constitution. Likewise we can observe a scene of riots and mob violence, which definitely point out towards the harsh reality.
Ayushmann plays the role of a police officer who is in a mission to end the issue of discrimination in the country. He also shared a teaser captioned “Farq Bahut Kar Liya, ab Farq Layenge”. View the teaser attached below:
