Sreesanth fans, here is some good news. The Supreme Court cancelled the ban on the cricketer which was imposed by BCCI after a spot fixing scandal.
He had been accused and found guilty in a match fixing scandal, in 2013 during a match between Kings XI Punjab and Rajasthan Royals in Mohali.
During Indian Premiere League, which lead to a lifetime ban on the poor guy.
The cicketer was in spotlight last year with Bigg Boss. It was also the first time he spoke up on his scandal. In the show he also spoke how the ban affected him.
He claimed to be innocent and how the ban was an emotional torture for him. The emotional outbreaks during the show, drew in support from his fans and followers. Later they demanded that the ban be lifted.
Recently, the Supreme Court passed the order to lift the ban on Sreesanth. But, the Court has not taken back the evidence or the findings of guilt against Sreesanth.
During the last hearing on March 1st, Sreesanth claimed that the ban was unfair, since he was forced to give a confession by Delhi Police. Confession under stress could be used against him.
