The round rat with a lot of winter flab got itself caught in a sewer grate in Bensheim, Germany. It was found stuck by the local animal rescue organization, Berufstierrettung Rhein Neckar. Unable to free her, they called the Firefighters.
Soon, an entire team of handsome firefighters was there on scene to free the poor little thing.
They were able to prop up the grate, got a rescue loop firmly round the rat and eventually free her from the situation.
Just like us, during the Christmas time, the rat too decided to indulge in a lot of goodies. But, the results are clear since the poor guy turned out to be cute and chubby.
