Did Govinda Really Rejected James Cameron’s proposal?

One of the most famous early Bollywood actors, Govind Arun Ahuja also known as Govinda had given a statement which left whole India shocked. The actor revealed that James Cameron had approached him for the blockbuster movie Avatar which was released on 18 December 2009.

This statement has been termed by the people as “Govinda’s bizarre new claims”. In an recent interview at Rajat Sharma’s show ‘Aap Ki Adalat’, the actor confessed himself that he said no to this proposal because he was against body paint.

In addition to this, he also said that even though he had rejected the proposal but he still  contributed to the title of this film.

Govinda said that :

“I gave the title of the film. It turned out to be a super hit film. I had informed him that the film would do really well. I told him that I felt it would take seven years  for him to complete the film. That infuriated him. He asked, ‘How can you be so sure that I won’t be able to make Avatar for seven years?’ I told him that what he was imagining was something almost impossible. And as predicted by me, the film released 8 or 9 years later and was a super-hit,” the actor said on journalist Rajat Sharma’s talk show.”
