PM Modi does his First Press Conference: Or was it Amit Shah?

PM Modi

PM Modi did his First ever Press conference today on May 17th, 2019. He was always criticized for never doing a Press conference in his 5 years tenure. But as the last leg of elections come to an end. Out of the blue a press conference was held by BJP.

The press conference was meant to be Honorable Prime Minister’s first, but turned out Amit Shah was not the PM, the last time we checked.

It started with Mr. Shah giving a speech about the performance of BJP in the last five years. Then followed by Mr. Modi’s monologue.

The thing that struck us most was that, instead of speaking on their work, it was more focused on the election campaign. And how they will win by a huge margin.

Eventually Modiji was given a chance to speak. He did continue with his Mann ki Baat but this time visually.

Later, Amit Shah showered his blessings on the gathered reporters and decide to give them a chance.

He tried to answer few questions, but kept blaming Congress for their 5 years tenure. When one reporter asked if Modiji can answer a question, Modiji Intervened and said ‘He is a good Party worker and let the President speak’

Finally, Narendra Modi ji concluded first press conference but without taking any questions.

A reader said, Narendra Modi is basically attending Amit Shah’s press conference. This election seems to be out and out travestied and stage managed.
