Uber passenger drives himself home from Bangalore airport after learning the driver was too DRUNK.
However, it would be hard to beat the traumatic experience that Surya Oruganti had. When he ordered an Uber while waiting at the Bengaluru International Airport.
Here's a video of the driver who was drunk enough to not know he was being recorded. He was not the driver claimed by the app either. pic.twitter.com/IPnwBkTZ7R

The incident came to light when the passenger tweeted about the incident. Oruganti claims that he boarded the cab at the Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru, the Tech Hub of India. And to his holy surprise, he found the driver was not the real driver as mentioned on the app and sloshed drunk on top of it. Considering the his options to get to his destination and driver’s impaired condition, Surya decided to drive himself home. But he was clever to shoot a video of the driver and asked him several questions about the vehicle’s actual owner before exiting the vehicle.
@Uber_India, the ride back from Bangalore airport was not quite what I expected. The driver was drunk and drowsy. I had to pull the car over to the side and I drove all the way home. Pic with the driver in the rider seat passed out.
You need to fix this @Uber , @Uber_Support pic.twitter.com/G7LB0caeTM— Surya Oruganti (@suryaoruganti) September 9, 2018
